Our first ham to be awarded a Gold Award in the Taste of the West Awards.
This is a ham produced with the addition of sugar to give it its sweet flavour. Our free range legs are always cured with low amounts of salt producing a meaty and succulent slice of ham which is cooked to our own recipe. It is interesting to note that some hams boast a higher meat content at the end of the creation process; this is due to the addition of salt and water injected into the meat.
Our boast is very simple – no extra weight, just a top quality ham produced using traditional methods with flavour guaranteed. You have a choice between Dry cured unsmoked, Oak smoked with a distictive smoky flavour and Cherrywood smoked which has a subtle, slightly milder flavour.
