Steaks can be taken from elsewhere on the pig and the leg would be a popular example, but believe me there is no comparison, this is the daddy, the flavour is exquisite, it does not dry out and at less than half the price of rump steak it is a good choice for the enthusiast.
Cooking tip: Can be pan fried 3-4 minutes per side or pan fried quickly to sear, then pop in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes followed by 140°C for 30 minutes.
Ideal for marinating and on the BBQ.
