This is our version of Parma Ham, having many of the same qualities. Originating from a recipe from a Hungarian chef (who has incidentally influenced a number of our speciality products), this silver award winning product is popular with our local chefs and private customers alike. Cured over a period of 2-3 months using a mixture of herbs and spices, followed by a period of smoking and drying, the prosciutto is sliced by hand very thinly, packed and ready to eat. Can be eaten with salads, used to wrap around delicate foods (such as scallops) or included in recipes enhancing the existing flavours.
