Pork bellies can often be too fat – ours are not.

This is down to 25 years of our careful breeding policy.

The good news for you is this product is low in fat but high in flavour due to the marbling within the muscle.

In my business I have cooked hundreds of Hog Roasts.  The belly is without doubt the most popular, but don’t take my word for it, order a piece and put me to the test.

Can also be cut into 25mm strips ideal for the BBQ.

 

Cooking tip: usually cooked slowly in the oven, skin side up.  A belly slab could be cooked for 3 – 4 hours on 130°C – 140°C or longer on a lower temperature.

As with all products with skin on, turn up the temperature at the end to finish the crackling then rest for 20 minutes before serving.
